If you seriously don't believe Hillary played no part in the Osama raid, I don't know what to say. She was the Secretary of State, all the top cabinet members had a say in advising Obama on how to proceed. Secretary of State and Secretary of Defense are two positions that had the most influence since they deal with foreign/diplomatic affairs and the US Military. Hillary Clinton, Robert Gates, and Leon Panetta played big roles, but ultimately, the finally decision was up to the President. He took their advise into consideration, along with others, inside the Situation Room and acted on it. Joe Biden wasn't even for the option of the raid, but backtracked and contradicted himself last year, alluding to he left the decision to the POTUS (which was a duh since he has the ultimate decision in the end) to go with his instinct.

I mean, she was in the Situation Room as the raid was being conducted. She very much played a role in being one of those that vouched the President to proceed.

I didn't even watch it. I read enough and watched enough clips to make me thankful for that too. I almost registered as independent, but my state has a closed primary, so it was best I picked a party... So glad I picked democrat.

I love Bernie but the only way he can possibly get the nomination is if something goes down with Hillary's emails but even then I don't see democrats giving him the nomination, unfortunately.

Though technically, they're only about 200 delegates apart. Bernie's team needs to campaign harder in delegate rich states.

At this point, you're right. If he wants the nomination, he needs to spend more time in delegate rich states, and maybe expand the focus of his campaign beyond his main talking points. He destroyed Hillary in NH and VT, but neither of those states have a lot of delegates and Hillary wasn't far behind him in delegates in NH.

I like Bernie. I'm obviously rooting for Hillary, but I would like to see her use him somehow in her administration. I don't think VP would be a good fit. I don't think it would give him the best platform to work on his issues, which I do think are very important.

I mean she obviously had something to do with it, but Reza tried to make it seem like she was the sole reason for it getting done. All of the people you mentioned played a role. They were all under the leadership of Obama, not Hillary. Bad example of her leadership skills.

Everything we know suggests she WAS that mission, from testimonials like this to common sense about what the Secretary of State does. Obviously Obama has to give the final green light, but if that's your only definition of "leadership," it's painfully and misguidedly narrow. She was the one pushing for it, she was likely getting significant intelligence about his location, she handled most of the diplomatic issues probably herself, and SHE was the person who took charge and said "look, we need to do this."

It just makes your arguments against Hillary Clinton even less credible than they already were, but whatever. :sisters:
