I've been a huge Sanders fan for a long time not gonna lie. That being said, I read an article today about how was supporting trans rights in the 1980s. The 80s. When gay rights and expecially trans rights wasn't at ALL a thing. Burlington Vermont was known as a safe haven for trans people, and there was many gay and TRANS parades. I appreciate Hillary who could be the first woman president, but the fact that Sanders supported trans people at an unpopular time as a first term mayor just because he believed they deserve the same rights is incredible and needed.

He's always been a supporter of equal rights no matter who the person is. It's so amazing to watch videos of him from the 70s-90s and see how his message has never changed

You can tell he just really cares about the people. I love him.

Don't see what's so funny about it. Reza said that to illustrate her leadership skills, but Obama and the SEALs were the leaders in that mission. So... yeah! Her role was minimal just like many other people around at the time.

I saw a hilarious post appear on my dashboard about Hillary beating Obama on Super Tuesday in 2008, and how to remain hopeful for Bernie. I then chuckled when I checked that and realized it never happened, as Obama won more Super-Tuesday delegates

Bernie fans seem to be disillusioned into thinking that this primary season looks anything like 2008. They need to quit watching TYT and actually read quality articles.
