In a shock announcement at Bizarre HQ today, the boy band revealed that the curly-haired heartthrob’s diva behaviour was the final straw.
George’s departure was confirmed when his band members – JOSH CUTHBERT, JJ HAMBLETT and JAYMI HEMSLEY – gave him a final ultimatum via email after growing tired of his lack of commitment.
Josh revealed: “I wrote a really strong email. We basically gave him an ultimatum. It was, ‘You’re either in the band or you’re not’.
“George was in a position where he did the jungle, he came off it and his head space was different to ours.
“Using a sporting analogy, he wanted to turn up to the big matches but not turn up to training.”
The boys are now planning to replace George with a brand new fourth member within the next few weeks.
To say they are unhappy with him would be an understatement.
Speaking frankly, Josh said: “I would much rather have someone who wants to do it and is committed to do it. I’m not going to lose any sleep over him not being in the band.”
Jaymi was even more cut up about George’s apathy towards the band since he emerged from the jungle.
He said: “It’s heart-breaking. I spoke to him the other day and I said I’m heartbroken over this. I am absolutely devastated. This is taking up all my time and affecting my home life.
“It brings us down. When you turn up to something and the other person can’t be there, or they are turning up late. That makes you not love the project. One negative view can ruin it for everyone.
“I am bitter about things that have happened. He wasn’t putting his the full effort in. One member is not bigger than the band and we feel that there should be no member who is bigger than the project.”
I don't see how this group can remain in the spotlight anymore after having one of their core members leave like that, he was a favorite among the GP and had the biggest part in most of their classics
I tried to tell everyone it was George when JJ's wife threw shade and said the person should learn how to sing before going solo. He was just with them earlier this week for Jaymi's birthday, though
Edit: Then again, he wasn't actually in the picture the other three took at the party. They tried to make it seem like he was there, though.

any who I expect his debut solo album to be similar to James Bay's record! which would be fantastic! hope he stays away from cheesy pop and does more acoustic driven tracks since he plays the guitar and all
It was obvious that he was gonna leave. He's more popular than the group and always has been. The only reason why he got put in that group was because he's good looking.
They should have just continued as a trio
He is too good for that flop ass band anyway.
