We knew when Applause/ARTPOP were coming though and press was starting to ramp up after the lull of early 2013. It was more a by-product of increased publicity.

I kind of want her next album to sound like Songs about Jane (yes, I know Maroon 5 blah blah ) but the album is actually great and it's kind of funky. I feel like it could be LG5's direction.
