most of these countries are European made borders encompassing tribes that don't get along with each other and less that 60 years old. it's going to take time to find a system that works, and some new borders to curb intertribal conflicts might be necessary. some of y'all are acting like 50 year old countries that have been exploited for the last 500/600 years should be held to the same standard of the countries that got where they are by stealing the resources and labor of these same places. Africa will be slaying in a century or two.

and some of y'all are so ignorant saying South Africa is the only country with decent infrastructure when it's just as bad as the middle of the Congo when you leave the cities. And some cities like Accra, Lagos, Nairobi and Libreville are right on their coattails without an oppressive rich white minority

what the heck? yes, the job market in african countries is much worse than in europe. i can't think of many european countries where millions of people are in famine. whether you like africa or not, brushing off the problems with it won't help anyone, least of all the people from there that are suffering.

The Western world has to stay involved in the continent unless you want even more dictators running around. Africa will probably stay stagnant for a while. If the USA can't even get themselves together, how do you expect them to help with Africa?

Please sto acting like rape or not using contraceptives is only peculiar to Africa,when it's a universal problem..
secondly the problem in Africa is not just illiteracy ,for instance in Nigeria we have a lot of graduates, but the problem is getting gainful employment after school.The real issue is youth(educted or not ) empowerment .

Colonization slowed the entire continent down by decades. If not at least a century. Not only were the resources stolen (and still are) but colonizers placed corrupt leaders at the top of the countries which led to a culture of corruption even after colonization ended. Ruminants of it still linger and it creates a culture of anger, resentment and builds a innate sense of inferiority.

I hate it when people criticise Africa for it's homphobia and sexism. Some people are struggling to feed their families, they don't have clean water to drink, they can't afford medical care. Some people simply aren't living. It's easy for you guys to sit at home with clean water coming through the taps, free/affordable health care, on your fast wireless wifi and rant about this and that,

Do you really think social equality is on their priority list?

The demarcation of Africa and a lack of need for ingenuity. All people lived like they do in Africa prior to venturing north/west because we were provided most of our necessities due to warm weather. Ingenuity came about due to trial-and-error and the constant death brought about by winter in Asia and Europe. Because Africa didn't have that, they maintained a nomadic, hunter-gatherer lifestyle.

Fast forward to the 60s-80s and that's when 90% of Africa started gaining self-control and many of the countries have been embroiled in civil wars due to unfavorable ethnic groups being forcibly paired together by the European demarcation of Africa. That being said, they're still revolutionizing at a very quick rate (nothing compared to Japan, but probably on-par with India) and will continue growing for the next 50-60 years.

I made this thread to discuss why underdeveloped Africa is the way it is.....
And I made this thread cuz I wanted to discuss the solution to this problem.
And yes it is a problem,cuz millions of africans are starving as if they are not worthy for some food like the rest of the mother****ing world. I wanted to shed some light on these horrible things to some ungrateful ****s...
