Assuming that she's serious, I really feel for her. We've all had those moments when we're in an environment we don't like / fit in / perform well at and that takes a toll. Her meltdown is actually so familiar to me, my best friend had the same one like 2 years ago

so forced. Hopefully a teacher sees that and gives her a good lesson.

Does anyone else find it sad how we spend most of our youth studying & the majority of our adult life working - just to have a roof over our head and stay alive?

Truly working 9-5 just to stay alive.

I find it really sad. Life wasted. It just feels like we're all machines, doing the exact same thing as everybody else - working and studying for your entire life. Imagine if you add up the grand total of hours you've spent studying/working in your entire lifespan? It would feel like an enormous loss of time.

We spend our life doing so, because history has taught us a lack of education leads to a society in dire conditions. And we spend our time working, because humans are naturally industrial beings. I would rather work 9-5 than spend my time doing nothing. And many people do work in things they love, a video game developer wouldn't have a problem working all day if that's a job they love. I'm sure Taylor at the end of the day is happy she is doing her job.

Life is all about money. Our families spend more time working than spending time with children. I'm worried. I don't want a 9-5 job, I wanna stay home and watch my kids grow yet I don't wanna rely on my husband financially I don't know what to do

I think we've all said/joked about dropping out of school and becoming a stripper instead. I know I had a little mini breakdown about wanting to drop out of college cause I was just so sick of always studying and I would rather be out working in a job I like, but I know I have to study in order to get there.

I almost started doing cam shows once for extra money. but i decided not to just in case i ever write a book.
