Regardless of if he actually raped her or not, there's no reason for him to keep her in a contract that she wants to be released from. Maybe he thinks it makes him look innocent? I don't know, but he seems evil tbh.

I remember when people were saying that his tweet to becky g telling her to not drink soda and drink tea was creepy and sick and I thought it was a reach but know looking at it, he is a control freak, I confirmed it when Charli XCX exposed him because he told her that she was fat I don't want to think what kind of **** Becky G suffers because of him, but some of her tweets worry me because I am pretty sure he fat shames her alot and she seems sad.

Like, after all of this, I'm just baffled why he won't let her go?

Ok, I'm all Team Kesha in this. However, you all need to think rationally here.

1) DUH. Of course, he's not leaving his house throughout all of this.
2) His sister said this in an article, and of course she's going to defend him because that's his sister.
3) You're actually stupid to think that she can't say that this one time is the time that she's glad that her father is dead. It's a terrible thing to see your child go through something like this when many people are against you. Imagine how Kesha's mom felt in that situation with her daughter when she couldn't help out that much. It's called perspective.
4) The article never said that the kids were locked in that house. You made a GIANT assumption, based on the fact that he's locked in the house. The kids have a mother who can take them wherever they need to go. Nobody's locked up unwillingly like the OP is trying to claim.
5) When it says that a child is going to have to grow up with something hanging over them, they're talking about a reputation, which in this case, is Dr. Luke's. They're going to grow up with that reputation over them, which is sad because they couldn't change their situation and just magically have a different dad

While I do agree with all of your points, the fact is is that of course their kids are going to grow up with this hanging over them, but perhaps it is well truly their fathers fault (as I believe it is), and if thats the case theres nothing can do that about it, which may seem unfair but thats a part of life.

It really isn't. Tik Tok alone generated 11 million which the exact amount of money that Sony invested into her career. Combining everything else she's done, it's safe to say Luke's made back the investment and more.

His obsession with greed and money is what got Luke in this position. He already made a profit, let her go. Instead, he wanted more. Because he wanted to see how far her could push her while making money, before she cracked. Kesha stopped pretending everything was fine in 2011.

I mean the man openly shamed Kesha's weight on the set of Die Young, in front of all the extras, because he was trying to make her feel worse when she was starting to go against Luke and speak for herself and what she wanted.
Being happy your Father is dead, so he doesn't have to hear allegations his son was abusive and a body shamer is just as bad in itself.

I mean Kelly Clarkson and Charli XCX have also alluded that Dr Luke has shamed them both for their body types as well. He should have quit while he was ahead.

The last thing I would wish for, is I have been accused of something I didn't do, was my parents to be dead or happy they have died.

A mother or father won't care what anyone else says as long as they believe you're telling the truth.
Why feel ashamed about what your parents would think/feel if you know you didn't do it.

I mean if Dr Luke's family didn't do all these interviews, no one would know who they were, and the mother, sister and father would still be able to live the same as they have before.
Luke's accusations would not affect them on a day-to-day.

Instead they are taking money to spill gossip to the Daily Mail, instead of just tweeting about it or posting thoughts on FB. Instead they are making money out of this. Which is even sadder.

They are angry Kesha is apparently "extorting him for money" but they are getting paid to speak against her and are ONLY doing it on that platform, not expressing their opinion publicly on social media.

Luke not being able to leave his home implies the Kids are living with him, without being able to go anywhere with him.

Not so much hostage, but are living with that extra threat that was brought on because of Luke wanting more money from a contract he already had received financial gain with.
