It's too bad, and very unusual, that Incubus' version of "Let's Go Crazy" didn't take off as a single. I'm probably the only person who decided to include it anywhere on their list. "Black Heart Inertia", however, is good too. ^_^

Final set before the big 25. Gotta love it.
#35 "All the Right Moves" by onerepublic
How did radio not soak this one up?
#34 "Love Hurts" by Incubus
I think Johnny mentioned it in his countdown, but right after you finish commenting on my countdown, check out their cover of Prince's "Let's go Crazy." It's crazy good.
#33 "Daylight" by Matt and Kim
You know, I really wasn't buying this song at first. I saw it on MTV2 a couple of times, and really just wasn't into it. But I gave it a chance, and it REALLY grew on me. I mean I think they're pretty original, and while their song for "Lessons Learned" really wasn't anything special, the video was pretty ballsy - them stripping in the center of Times Square. Gotta love it.
#32 "Panic Switch" by Silversun Pickups
I'm pretty hit or miss too with this group, but definitely on the hit side for this one.
#31 "I've Seen Enough" by Cold War Kids
Really picked up on these guys a few years ago when they released "Hang Me Out to Dry." "I've Seen Enough" is equally as good, and I think the arrangement for this song is incredible. "How's it gonna feel when summer ends - out of money, out of friends," is probably also one of my favorite lines from a track this year.
#30 "Best I Ever Had" by Drake
One - I'm still shocked that this is Jimmy from Degrassi. And two - I'm surprised that Kanye West directed such a dumbass video - OK, maybe nice to look at - but the concept has nothing to do with the song. With that said, Drake spits some talented stuff, so I think we'll be seeing him for a few years, if he follows the likes of his mentor, Weezyyyy Baby.
#29 "Right Round" by Flor Rida feat./ Ke$ha
Try and deny it all you want, but you know you've loved everything about this song since it first appeared last December.
#28 "No You Girls" by Franz Ferdinand
Awww, sometimes we all "say the stupidest things." Franz has always been a staple on my year end, and for you huge fans, they'll be back with one more.
#27 "Back Against the Wall" by Cage the Elephant
When I get around to making a worst of the year list, it will 100% include their god awful "Ain't No Rest for the Wicked." This is one hell of an improvement.
#26 "I Hate this Part" by the Pussycat Dolls
We're driving slow through the snow on Fifth Avenue, yet we're filming a video in the Southern desert and just kicking sand for the whole time!?!? Haha, I'll never understand this video, but I will give Nicole and the girls (that's right I said it) some credit for creating one of the best slower songs of this past year.

Drake! Franz! Good work, Chris.
I think it'll take Drake's first official album to be released for people to realize he's the real deal. A lot of people are still wearing the "He's Jimmy from Degrassi" goggles when they hear/see him. But tracks like "Fear" are just as good as any hip-hop song from '09. I expect a lot of bandwagon jumpers in 2010.

Props for "Daylight" and some others in this list! Some of the same picks as my winter '09 stuff.
