“There’s a song called “Hello,” which happens to be one of the biggest songs in the world. It is now top 5 on the Urban Adult Contemporary Billboard charts. She is not Black and she is from Europe…the song is amazing…which means that Adele has an opportunity to sell records to all of these urban listeners that otherwise would have never heard her song.
So I feel like if your song is great or amazing- it doesn’t matter if you’re Black or White…I’m not putting on no tight as$ jeans and coloring my hair turquoise to make you think that I’m ready to cross over and be pop. I’m already pop! I’m more popular than most of the White artists on your d*mn station. You can’t have over 6 billion in the box office and say that I’m a Black man that’s only supported by Black people.”
Lol this is like when pop girl stans say that a successful movie grossed x amount because of the pop girl's 1 minute feature. But in this case he's saying it about himself. Like girl Vin diesel and Paul >>>

Except it isn't as he's a main character in both series
He's complaining because his single, "Shame" isn't being played by Pop Radio and has called them racists so many times. It's so dumb.
Adele's songs is getting played on Urban AC because it has appeal on the format. It's a big-belting ballad with Soul. Tyrese's single literally has NO pop appeal, so I don't get why he keeps expecting airplay on Pop stations. It'd be completely different had it sounded Pop but was being rejected, but he seriously cannot think THIS song actually fits in with stations playing Wildest Dreams, What Do You Mean?, and Cheerleader.
Make a song with Pop-appeal ala Rihanna, The Weeknd, Flo Rida, etc and you'll get Pop airplay. It's not a rude ordeal for Pop to not want to play a song that isn't Pop at all, wouldn't attract their audience, and doesn't fit with the rest of the playlist. Pop is less friendly with playing Urban than it use to be, but even in the 2000's that song wouldn't have been a hit on Pop it just doesn't fit the format at all.
