That is his real problem, he is not garnering support from African Americans, Hispanics, and women. These groups are essential to winning the nomination. This is the difference between him and Obama who had the support of these three groups. He cannot just rely on the youth to carry him to the nomination especially when older people vote more than younger people. The states that he is winning are majority white and in order to get the democratic nomination you need all of these groups. He is dead in the water unless somehow, he can convince women, hispanics, and African Americans to leave Hillary which they won't.

He will lose states that either have a large African American or Hispanic population. That is why he is losing California even though it is a liberal state.
