This is clearly a guess and he had a 1 in 12 chance at guessing right.

I could post a video online guessing that someone will pick the number 4, it doesn't make me psychic.

This is a neat trick, but the way it works is by first letting you solve some simple equations, the last one being a substraction. Then he shows you the numbers 5 and 12, and you have to be quick...
12 - 5 = 7

I also got 7, but I instantly realized why I got 7. My mind was still in "substraction mode". This is why, on average, a lot more people choose 7.


It's a really cool trick though!

I picked 5, then I found out you couldn't have picked it (even though he said from 5 to 12 ) so I picked 6 and he still got it wrong.
