first of all how the **** else could you handle a flood of refugees when Berlin's housing apartment are packed as hell already without them. refugee camps are by all means not the best thing to live in but if you really(!) are a refugee because your home country was so bad then you should be thankful for that. if you expect a hotel room or an apartment right away then you should get a reality check.

secondly germans and especially Berliners do SO much for refugees. You guys don't even know what i've seen and done in the last couple of months.

What i've also seen is that refugees REJECTED places where they could have lived or families who would have accommodated them because they didn't like them. or didn't like their way of living/their beliefs.

You can't be too extreme in left or right leaning. Personally I'm on the left, but the conservative mindset of the right is necessary in many situations. Life is not a movie with happy ending, both the dark and bright sides are needed

1/5 who arrived were actually from Syria. Most of the migrants who arrived in this current wave were from other countries like Pakistan, Albania, Nigeria etc. These numbers come from official German receipts. Yes, a small number were genuine refugees - but the majority were chancers who took the opportunity presented to them by the initial welcoming stance shown by Merkel.

The criminals trafficking migrants in promised endless riches and sadly a lot of people believed that and have been disappointed by the reception they've received (no huge free houses, only limited benefits).
