Here in Europe we have Muslim population constantly complaining that they receive discrimination based on their religion (largely due to the recent Syrian migration). Hip Hop is not for everyone just like Tex Mex music, country, jazz, gospel, etc. Sure Hip Hop is a little bit more mainstream but its a genre that isnt like by many and its not anyone's fault that thats the case.. #MINDBLOWN.

The Grammy voters took a vote and the album with the most votes ended up winning. It is called taking a ballot. Complaining about the democratic principle just because you backed a losing horse in the race is just sour grapes talking.

Also hilarious that some even pretend that 20 journalists who cannot even create music determine what is acclaimed and what is not. Metacritic doesn't actually matter. The GP doesn't even know how and why Metacritic weight the different publications. If one journo is freelance and shops their review to different publications, the review will be weighted by Metacritic differently depending on the publication that actually publishes the review. How is that even fair? Only children think Metacritic matters. They don't give out awards, so who cares what scores they makeup with their hidden weightings of publications. Why do some people on atrl think a journalist's opinion is more important than their own? Music taste is subjective, and thus opinions vary between different people.

The Grammy's voters are made up of 1000s of music creators. They all take a listen and vote for the album they prefer. Fairly simple. Whining because your choice turns out to be the minority opinion is just pointless. You backed the wrong horse and need to get over it.

Today is Super Tuesday. A lot of people will be voting in the US. Every ballot is gonna have a winner and some losers. The losers will complain. They will have to get over their sour grapes. Deciding things by voting is the fairest way. Complaining about losing a vote is just bitterness. The OP needs to accept that his opinion was not shared at the ballot box of the Grammy's.
