Five out of six for the latest set. Marina & the Diamonds and Miike Snow are two of the few new artists I've gotten acquainted with recently. They each have unique sounds. I like 'em. And I didn't expect Miike Snow to sound so... umm... happy and giddy.

42. 3OH!3 Feat. Katy Perry - Starstrukk
- I honestly love these fun meaningless pop songs. Adding Katy Perry to the mix of "Starstruckk" is the way 3OH!3 attempts to make the song even more mainstream. Either way, I still dig the track a lot. I just hate their videos.. it's so dumb.
41. Pink - Please Don't Leave Me
- I did not care whatsoever about this track when it came out. By September, I finally realized how GREAT "Please Don't Leave Me" is. I found myself playing this track on repeats because the song is so simple yet has such emotional feel to it. Loves it.
40. Ke$ha - Tik Tok
- LOL. I know, I know. Tik Tok?! Ke$ha?! Why the dollar sign? WTF? New Fergie? Well, the song is just ****ing catchy. Can't help it if I like a catchy fun song.
39. Passion Pit - To Kingdom Come
- I was so mad I did not hear this song earlier in the year. "To Kingdom Come" is just a perfect song to drive, I would literally blast this track and sing horribly at the top of my lungs. Passion Pit is among one of the great artists I've discovered this year. Great stuff.
38. Sara Bareilles - Gravity
- "Gravity" is honestly one of the really good pop songs in 2009. One, it does not sound mainstream radio material like "Love Song" or "Bottle It Up." Two, the video.. wow it's just really good. These two factors definitely make me fall in love with this track.
37. She & Him - Why Do You Let Me Stay Here?
- This is probably the cutest video I've seen all year. The chemistry between Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Zooey Deschanel is just amazing. Carrying from the film (500) Days of Summer to this short clip shows how much I love Zooey Deschanel and She & Him. It would be a shame not to include "Why Do You Let Me Stay Here?" in at least the oh sch-nap section.
