It depends mostly on your flow and the absorbency level of the tampons. I usually average between 3-4 hours and change them whenever I have to pee, but there have been occasions where I've sneezed really hard and legit had to run to get a new one after like 20-30 minutes.

You shouldn't keep them in longer than 6-8 hours regardless of the circumstances tho.
