Guilty Pleasure would be my favorite, and I would definitely include Me Without You in my favorite tracks on that album.

Jeibert's Best of 2009 | Top ALBUMS | Close Calls (11-20)
Okay, part two are the albums that sometimes I'm ashamed of listening because I'm afraid that only myself will like it, and people may tell that I have a bad taste. These albums are sometimes my guilty pleasure as well. But who cares? as long I enjoy the music, I guess there's no need to worry.
Here's part 2:
 | LE TOYA - "Lady Love"
A follow up to "LeToya", is this year's "Lady Love", and this proves why she's such a lady. The
album contains the sole banger "She Aint Got" with its catchy, "swing betta betta..."
phrases which is my favorite. One of the best tracks is "Regret" which features Ludacris with a
laid-back beat. Although there are some fillers, I learned to love "Lazy" & "Drained" because of
their unique production. Maybe, not as successful as her debut, it still delivers good R&B tunes
and vibes, perfect for afternoon home listening.
Favorite Tracks: She Ain't Got..., Not Anymore, Lady Love, Regret, Lady Love |
 | MILEY CYRUS - "The Time of our Lives"
A great extended play is indeed worthy for Miley Cyrus' name, now we know why it has longevity in
the albums chart. With the lead single "Party In The USA", Miley's tunes are sure catchy. Admit to
hate it at first, it grew on my after a while. It is also Miley's most succesful song to date. The ballad
"When I Look at You" features an emotional appeal to listeners, while the opening
"Kicking & Screaming" and other tracks screams rock pleasure. Closing the EP is a raw live
version of a signature tandem with the Jonas Brothers in "Before the Storm".
Favorite Tracks: Party In The USA, When I Look At You, Before the Storm, Kicking and Screaming |
 | NORAH JONES - "The Fall"
After three monster selling albums, Grammy-award winning jazz singer Norah Jones is back
with "The Fall". This time, pop music becomes an influence to her sound, a first for Ms. Jones.
Sporting with short hair, sadly, it doesn't live up to her previous successes, which is a
big disappointment. Nonetheless, I live up to this different direction where she's going. Its just
a shame that it doesn't coincide with promotion. Hopefully, it can have longevity just like her previous
albums. "Chasing Pirates", "Young Blood", are some examples of worthy of listen.
Favorite Tracks: Chasing Pirates, Even Though, Young Blood, Waiting, Back to Manhattan |
 | ONE REPUBLIC - "Waking Up"
OneRepublic garnered respect and acclaim in the music industry. After collaborating with
producer Timbaland, frontman Ryan Tedder has written and produced for many established artists.
But save the best for last, for their effort, "Waking Up" this year. With playful sound to tickle your
ear, with marching beats on the drums, it offers a unique sound quite distinguished from other bands.
Its present in tracks such as "All The Right Moves" and "Marching On". Good Life is a highlight
of the album as well. Hopefully it can live up with the success of their previous album.
Favorite Tracks: All The Right Moves, Secrets, Marching On, Good Life, Everybody Loves Me |
 | OWL CITY - "Ocean Eyes"
One of the most surprising new acts emerging in 2009, is Owl City with one-man Adam Young
& "Ocean Eyes". Packed up with the nostalgic "Fireflies", which became #1in the charts, the album
is filled with extremely pleasant to the ear, delicate production. Lullaby chords are mostly
in the album. Though most of the songs sound the same, there is this different distinction that
distinguishes each. Songs such as "Cave In," "Vanlla Twilight" impressed me the most. The album
also covers the infamous Burj-al-Arab.
Favorite Tracks: "Vanilla Twilight, Fireflies, Cave In, Hello Seattle, Meteor Shower |
 | SELENA GOMEZ & THE SCENE - "Kiss & Tell"
Joining fellow Disney artists Miley, and Demi, Selena makes sure that she has also a spot to be
recognized in music. With her band The Scene, she delivers youthful pop rock songs that puts up to
wonder and amazement. Lead single "Falling Down" is filled with a wonderful chorus while
"Naturally" is simply a natural yet amazing song. Stepping up other tracks, is the updated version of
"Tell Me Something I Don't Know" which is obviously an upgrade version than the original. If you
like releases from Disney artists, it's sure that you'll easily love this too.
Favorite Tracks: Naturally, Falling Down, Tell Me Something I Don't Know, As A Blonde |
 | SUSAN BOYLE - "I Dreamed a Dream"
You may wonder why does Susan Boyle belong here? It's just I love classical music. Prior to her
achievements, it has catapulted her to fame, and currently is running up for the year's best selling.
But its not the records I cared about, but its about how I fascinatingly liked Susan's wonderful voice.
Yet an album full off cover songs, Susan gives her best vocals layered in each chosen track. Her cover
of Madonna's "You'll See", is the best for me. Other tracks are amazing as well as classics are
remembered. Truly, she deserves all the success with this effort.
Favorite Tracks: You'll See, White Horses, I Dreamed a Dream, Amazing Grace |
 | TATA YOUNG - "Ready for Love"
I liked Tata Young ever since I was little. And this year, she brought up another English album
This time, more mature and more classy. The feel on this classy is very foreign and American as Tata
shows her versatility over European-like productions. "Ready for Love" channels her voice to as
a diva. The title track, "Bloody Valentine" and "Mission Is You" are high standard songs with an
international appeal. "Perfection" is also strong track towards the end of the album. Though yet to
make some impact, I applaud Tata for bringing such a worthy album to listen to.
Favorite Tracks: Ready for Love, Bloody Valentine, Mission Is You, Burning Out, Perfection |
 | TIMBALAND - "Shock Value II"
Well-known producer Timbaland delivers his sequel to "Shock Value" yet this time, it features
a various list of famous guest, ranging from pop artists Miley Cyrus to rock bands such as Nickelback.
Timbo's signature beats is all over the record. Each track is delivered unique as possible. Yet
only a few are quite easily to be remembered. Aside from the lead single which features new
artists Soshy, I love mostly tracks with Justin, Katy, JoJo, Miley and The Fray. Of course brother
Sebastian and Keri is still there. Yet it somehow lacks to recapture the effectiveness of "Value I".
Favorite Tracks: Morning After Dark, Lose Control, Carry Out, Undertow, If We Ever Meet Again |
 | UTADA - "This Is The One"
After bringing us with the anticipated Exodus in 2004, this year, another English album is for
Utada Hikaru, one of my most favorite Japanese artist ever. This young superstar delivers
"This Is The One", another mainstream and commercial record. With Stargate produced tracks,
it is quite easy to sink in and love the songs. "Come Back to Me" is Utada ala Mariah Carey, while
she maintains her persona in songs such as "Apple & Cinnamon", "This One" & "FYI". In "Me Muero"
we can hear Utada in a sexy way. Though failed to make impacts, the album is quite a modest hit.
Favorite Tracks: Come Back to Me, Merry Xmas...- FYI, This One, Apple and Cinnamon |
Next update will be the start of my top 30 albums!

I don't listen much the Norah Jones album but i think is good. Owl City album is sick. Utada and One Republic
and you don't have a bad taste and should not care what others think.

4/10
Lady Love is full of fillers, not interested with Snorah, Kiss & Tell is ****ing garbage, Susan is a boring charity case, never and will never listen to Tata, Timbo's album is so 2006 (BTW where is the track with Keri Hilson, it's hot one!), and Utada's album doesn't have a standout track but it also doesn't have any bad track.
