well we don't even know what this song is sis. I think it became just something to tide us over once they gauged the lukewarm reception.

I thought the reception was decent. No? And it could've worked on urban radio. The Metro Boomin tag alone >>>

But they didn't give it a chance, that's what I hate. Delayed iTunes release, delayed Spotify upload, no radio adds, one promo performance that didn't even air on TV... The song wouldn't be some global smash obviously, but it deserved a proper chance.

Party Favors deserved all that. It had buzz even after Player flopped. Wouldn't you prefer them to save their coins for a stronger song? Not necessarily PF but one at a better time in the year, since she was busy getting ready for the tour and having label/album difficulties. It just hasn't been the right time for her and even if the song was organized properly it would only serve to make her career look a bit better. It wouldn't have actually changed anything imo.

As for AMF we'll wait and see. I find it hard to believe that RCA will let it go that quickly, it's everything they could want in a single. Lush Life is a similar situation and that will be getting a THIRD push soon.

Like I genuinely believe if she has one more flop single with promo then they'll release the album with nothing and let it flop. You remember that post a while back that mentioned how RCA does that with a lot of other artists? She's walking a tightrope right now.

Relaunch era is actually a brilliant idea and it hadn't crossed my mind. Perfect way to scrap everything we already have.

I saw her tonight and she was beyond amazing. It really sucks that she isn't being promoted properly by RCA.
