Adele could have had a place on The Unruly Mess I've Made, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis' sophomore album – but she kindly declined, according to Macklemore. The rapper had requested that she contribute to the track “Growing Up.”
“She graciously passed,” he told the New York Times when asked whether any potential collaborators turned him down. He added, “I’m sure that there were times that we never heard back from somebody’s manager or something like that, but for the most part, no.”
