I thoroughly enjoyed this year's Oscars... Everyone looked great, the right people/movie won and I'm glad it became all about the lack of diversity. Chris Rock was hilarious especially in that video where he interviewed a bunch of people at a movie theatre in Compton.
That bit with the Asian kids though.... That fell flat for me.
What you talking about? 3 latinos won oscars this year
Technical categories sister, they decided to acknowledged the lack of diversity but failed to acknowled all
Minorities... But aren't you the one always hating on your own people?
That's better than having zero nominations, let alone zero awards.
saying that just derails the issue and sweeps it under the carpet, no. y'all want equality but its really a competition of who's more opressed. miss me that bs
Wow Mad Max really slayed! Well deserved! I never thought i'd be into a film like that because it's not my cup of tea but I really loved it when I saw it. A pleasant surprise tonight.
As for the ceremony I didn't really enjoy the hosting if i'm honest, it was funny in parts but I think he did too much and took it too far.
Best Picture was a disappointment for me.
I'm so happy Leo won!
So happy for Alicia too! Hope this is the start of big things for her.
Gaga's performance was amazing, she deserved to win tbh.
I didn't enjoy how they cut speeches/thank-you's so short, the show still ran over and went on too long..
I was so happy to see ex machina snatching best effect because all
The other movies had big budged/studios behind them and ex machine was a little indie film with limited budged.
