I think Abel earns it. His vocals are incredible on the track and I have just loved watching his journey to the top, he totally deserves it and it was a huge commercial success unlike the other tracks nominated.

There's also going to be a diversity speech before best original song is announced, and Abel is the only non-White person nominated for an Oscar this year, so obviously the Oscars are preparing for his win. KING tbh
