I mean I agree with what you've said here, but it's not like those songs were successful because Katy said "you know what'd be really good, change the hook to this" or "hey that lyric doesn't feed, this one is better" They were hits because Dr. Luke or whoever produced the songs either guessed what would be success or didn't (in Katy's career, mostly guessed as her singles power is astronomical)
I just feel like her input in her career, which a hugely successful one, is none.
