48. Shakira - She Wolf
- There's a she wolf in the closet AWOOOO! Shakira is back with "She Wolf" and after the song came out, I cannot stop going Awooooo. Shakira never fails to deliver her first singles since Whenever,Wherever era and then Don't Bother and now this track. "She Wolf" defines sexiness along with witty lyrics that get people moving in the club. I'm starting to feel just a little abused like a coffee machine in an office. Clever!
47. The XX - Crystalized
- Possibly the most underrated songs of 2009 until iTunes featured The XX's "Crystalized" in its free music video of the week segment. The song is just so good; the harmonizing between both male and female lead singers make the song even better. Watch out for the XX, they'll hit big in 2010. Mark my words.
46. Lily Allen - The Fear
- It would not be the best of without some mentioning for Lily Allen. I really loved "The Fear" back in the beginning of the year, but it became apart from me as the year goes by. Still, "The Fear" has such a wonderful clip that I must at least include it the oh sch-nap section.
45. Loney, Dear – Airport Surroundings
- I remembered whoring this song for about 3 weeks straight. Discovered this random track on some blog and I just get so hooked. "Airport Surroudings" is definitely a recommendation if you're into stuff like Death Cab for Cutie and The Postal Service. Just a great mellow single from Loney, Dear that got me humming during Fall.
44. Miike Snow - Animal
- The interesting about Miike Snow is that most people do not know about them. Well, time to get to know these guys! Their album is produced by Bloodshy & Avant, the people who produced pop albums for Britney Spears and Kylie Minogue. With that said, you know you should give Miike Snow's album a listen! "Animal" is the first track you should download right now. Just too good to be missed out.
43. Marina & the Diamonds - I Am Not a Robot
- Marina & the Diamonds is like one of my new favorite artists this year. Her videos are just EPICNESS, including this one "I Am Not a Robot" (Seriously, watch the video above right now!) The song, video, and her vocal in this clip are just perfect. I have to thank my friend who sent me this song earlier in the Summer because if it was not for him, I would have missed her out BIG TIME.
