Discussion: Olympics music theme? why not?

I was thinking that World soccer Cup always have a theme and it happens with others spots too. But the Olympics game don't have a music theme. Why? If it had could be an global success? ??

I think yes cuz the Olympics are the most global event in sports area, so i don't know why it don't have a music theme that could help music industry

Considering the amount of times Emeli Sande performed at the 2012 Olympics she was basically the musical theme, but I agree it would be quite cool for that to happen!

All Olympics have a theme song, but it's just for each respective country to chose.

For example, this was Australia's theme song for the 2004 Olympics.

I understand your point, but i mean just one song that could represent the Olympics globally
