Also Wide Awake was a million times better and made people look even more harshly at the awful Part Of Me

Because the girls are pressed that Katy got her 7th #1 single with a demo that had leaked two years prior to being released.

Because it's a slightly lower standard than Katy's other iconic songs but still went #1 when many people's faves struggle to reach #1. Also the fact that it was the 7th single in the Teenage Dream era yet still went #1
