Well he did try. It just the way he addresses his issues to South Carolina voters didn't resonate enough. He definitely is known. He had over 200 staffers in SC, spent millions here, had surrogates like Nina Turner, Ben Jealous, and Killer Mike campaigning for him. But her record kept her afloat

I think once Obama gets out and campaigns for her in the GE it will motivate even more Black supporters to vote for her.
