Even condoms aren't 100% foolproof either unfortunately.
Not to mention, condoms don't protect you from contracting other STIs like herpes. It really is sad that there doesn't seem to be anything we can do to stop these viruses from spreading, even with the best protection we have currently. The only 100% foolproof protection is abstinence. I really hope they find a cure for all STIs and HIV in my lifetime. It'll be one of the happiest days on earth in recent history.
