No. There is this fake hype surrounding CL. She's ZENDAYA'ing her way into award shows, and fashion, trying for headlines, and it helps having Scooter for management. She is not going to happen.
She's shoved down everyone's throats, but she isn't receiving huge support from the public in return. Bom and Dara (especially back in 2NE1's peak) were always more popular than her.
She's more like the Nadine of 2NE1. Her presence in the group is the most prevalent but she isn't 'the star'.
And it's not even shade. I just don't see the starpower.
