 | | Janet Jackson
"Make Me"
Album: Janet Jackson Number Ones
Opening the top 100 here comes Miss Jackson with her brand new single
After her legendary brother's death, she came back with this dance song
I really loved it and fell in love with the rythm so fast, the video is kinda cool too. |
| | | David Archuleta
"A Little Too Not Over You"
Album: David Archuleta
Ok here comes the highest guilty pleasure of the list I hate this kid and his annoying rat face, but well this song is just NOT bad, specially the lyrics, IDK if he wrote them or not, but I dont care, I'll just say I like this song and it deserved to be here. |
| | | Flo Rida feat. Nelly Furtado
"Jump"
Album: R.O.O.T.S.
Flo Rida is such an overated singles artist, I can't deny it.
But well once in a while he makes a nice song and here is one of them.
I also loved the music video and the movie it was part of. |
| | | Natalie Imbruglia
"Want"
Album: Come To Life
Anybody remembers her from the 90s? Of course I do.
Just in the time when everybody had forgotten about her, as her album says, she comes to life.
Want is the first single out of her new album, its way more mature and different, but catchy. |
| | | Coldplay
"Life In Technicolor II"
Album: Prokspert's March
Coldplay is in a little dry spell on me. After they released VLV they became boring and plain IMO.
This song however is a little inspiring and I admit I sang along with it a couple of weeks.
Besides, who didnt love the Chris Martin puppet? |
| | | Kate Miller-Heidke
"The Last Day On Earth"
Album: Curioser
This australian girl is so talented and beautiful. I'm so glad I discovered her this year.
TLDOE is not only her most successful single in the Kangaroo land but also a cute little masterpiece to listen to. I recomend it a lot this winter time. |
| | | Leona Lewis
"I Will Be"
Album: Spirit
I must admit this was one of the few ballads this year that I got sick of listening to.
I dont know why or how but I don't like it anymore. Anyways it did stay in my personal countdown for a short time and here it is in my year end countdown! |
| | | The All-American Rejects
"I Wanna"
Album: When The World Comes Down
Third single released from this amazing album, this song is catchy and cool,
but at the same time it was a wrong single choice IMO. And that music video was a letdown.
But the song is great, and quite funny. |
| | | Kings Of Leon
"Notion"
Album: Only By The Night
Oh god I just can't stand the drowned cat voice of this guy. Actually Use Somebody was overated as hell and it might be one of the worst songs this year. However when I listened to Notion it didnt sound as terrible as the previous singles so, I gave it a chance and here it is. |
| | | Snow Patrol
"The Planets Bend Between Us"
Album: A Hundred Million Suns
This song might be a little plain, but I just fell in love the meaning and the fresh breeze of relaxing tunes it makes me feel, something like that. Somehow I *****d it a lot during the rainy days this year and I never got tired of it, also i love the music video . |
