Sweden puts the most effort when it comes to choosing the song for Eurovision
I can see it being a hit but hated because of this cringeworthy lyrics

Unfortunately that's not really true
Mostly this year : most of the songs are really "cheap", "Eurovision cliché"...
There's not a lot of songs which could be a hit outside Sweden.
