JoJo was different. She got out of her contract just over year after her previous album.
What happened afterward was just constant bad luck, rather than labels keeping her hostage.

She signed with labels that lost their distribution rights, went bankrupt etc. rather than just didn't let her out of her contract. She got out easily.

She can, but Luke still has the final say in what she can and cannot do. As Sony have said, it's Luke's contract, all they can do is say she doesn't have to speak or work with him directly and they'll be the messenger.

Why does she shade people who use a lot of co-writers to create music and then praises Beyoncé?

I thought this too-but maybe because Beyonce doesn't/hasn't taken full credit for a song when she knows others have written it? I think the shade was directed at those who try to take credit for "owning" and "making" a song when a lot more people should get credit. JMO though. Not sure. Plus, Beyonce is a great performer and maybe she admires that.

Uh no she did not get out easily and she did not just have 'bad luck'.

Jojo was trapped by Blackground for YEARS, it was them who constantly lost distribution rights, nothing to do with her.
She made like three or four albums that could've been released.
Jojo was trapped in an 8 album deal or something shady like that and they wouldn't let her go even if they couldn't even release her music.
Wouldn't even return her calls, mails etc.

She got out by filing lawsuit as well and thankfully the judge could see that Blackground were no good at all.
The only difference here is that she didn't get raped indeed but Jojo's situation def. wasn't easier.
