Only her Whitney in the newest update, and her album was pretty nice. YES @ "Nothing But Love" being a favorite. Love that song. I always wanted to listen to Nelly's album, might one day.

Reeces' Best Of '09: Top 30 Albums (23-22)

23. Jay-Z “The Blueprint 3”
Standout Tracks: 'Empire State Of Mind', 'Young Forever', 'Off That', 'Run This Town', 'Real As It Gets'
The Blueprint 3 was one of the most anticipated albums of the year, not for me because I have never been a big Jay-Z fan, but the collaborations in the tracklisting and the first two singles, ‘Run This Town’ and ‘Empire State Of Mind’, which are beyond amazing, got me to the point where I just had to listen to this. Not only do we get one of the best rappers of our time in this album, but Jay-Z gets assisted by new promising upcoming acts such as Kid Cudi and Drake, as well as already established hip-hop artists like Kanye West, Young Jeezy, and Pharrell; and if that wasn’t good enough, you get two of the biggest pop artists of this decade, Rihanna and Alicia Keys. The lyrics and beats in this record are simply mind blowing and it has a very modern and commercial sound; the fact that he got two of the biggest hits of his career is just sick. After you get to hear Jay-Z rapping with the help of all these A-List acts, the album ends in a good note with one of the standout tracks, ‘Forever Young’, which needs to be released asap, it has so much potential to be huge. The Blueprint 3 is a great album from beginning to end, I kinda regret having it so low , but I downloaded the album not too long ago. Anyway, I think I’m gonna be playing this record for a long time, at least.

22. Kings Of Leon “Only By The Night”
Standout Tracks: 'Notion', 'Revelry', 'Use Somebody', 'Manhattan', 'Sex On Fire'
Ok, yeah, I know this is a 2008 release, but I got into ‘Use Somebody’ and ‘Sex On Fire’ by the end of last year and I didn’t get the chance to listen to their album until this year. One of the things that make this album so enjoyable is without a doubt the lead singer’s voice, it’s so unique and different; I’d go as far as to say that he has one of the best male voices I have ever heard. The alternative record heads up to a great start with a fantastic guitar arrangement in ’Closer’ and a bitter and angry feeling in ‘Crawl’. That is immediately followed by two great tracks, the insanely catchy ‘Sex On Fire’ and the classic ‘Use Somebody’, which was all over pop radio this year. The best moments in the album definitely take place towards the end of the record, first with the irresistible vocal arrangement in ‘Manhattan’ and then the romantic slow song, ‘Revelry’. The catchy ‘17’ and ‘Notion’ are next and you are sure to be satisfied with the album at this point. You know an album is amazing, when it pretty much makes you want to download their old stuff, and I think that’s what I’m about to do. Fantastic album, nothing else needs to be said.

I do like Jay-Z's singles, but it's gonna take a lot more to make me want to listen to an albm. LOL
I absolutely loved all of the KOL singles. I still have to listen to their album, I'm always telling myself that I'm gonna download it but I always forget to do it. LOL

You should definitely give both albums a listen. I think you're really gonna enjoy 'Only By The Night'.

Kings of Leon made my list last year so I'm happy. As for Jay-Z, his new album is really good. So 2/2, Reeces!

Only by the Night and The Blueprint 3 are good albums, both successful breakthrough and comeback albums respectively.
