Britney Spears’ ex-husband Jason Alexander, who she was famously married to for only 55 hours in 2004, spent almost four months in jail on domestic abuse charges in 2015.
According to court documents obtained by Us Weekly, Alexander allegedly physically assaulted a woman he was dating in San Francisco on April 29, 2015, causing “great bodily injury.”
Alexander, 34, pleaded guilty to one count of a felony assault and served 111 days in a San Francisco jail. The victim also secured a restraining order against Spears’ ex.
After being released from jail, Alexander was ordered to serve three years' probation, complete 25 hours of community service and take domestic violence counseling and enter drug and alcohol treatment programs.
