Also NC police union voted unanimously to not boycott the sold-out concert.

Y'all are missing the point. Yes, Bey will have her own security detail, as well as the stadiums she tours. It's not all about protecting Bey. It's about the 100ks of fans who will be flooding the streets that the police are suppose to really be available for. You can't have 50K people trying to convene on one area without the proper police detail. It's a hazard. So yeah, Bey doesn't NEED the police, but her fans and citizens in corresponding neighborhoods do.
