Im a music snob to an extent. I don't respect every artist solely based on the fact that they're putting stuff out there and I most likely won't respect the opinions of people that solely listen to artists that I think are crap.

That being said, I dont limit myself to one genre or shy away from stuff thats popular/trendy just because its popular/trendy. Im pretty broad when it comes to what im down for, what matters to me is some level of authenticity or at least if somethings so undeniably catchy that I cant deny it even if I wanted to.

Sad thing, is that a lot of that "rock" (often stadium rock) some of those people hide behind is actually crap music.
