Opening the countdown with fire burning lyrics and firemen costumes
here they come Cobra Starship! Second Single and title track from their new album,
this song prooved to me they're no one hit wonders.
The Rasmus "Justify" Album: Black Roses
At fist I kinda hated this song cause they used to be very overated here in Mexico.
But you guys know I just cant resist the power of a good ballad.
I wont deny it, The Rasmus made my countdown with this nice ballad and amazing video.
Lifehouse "Halfway Gone" Album: Smoke And Mirrors
My newest discover I must say. This band is a hidden jewel
and Im glad I just found out about them. A couple of spins and I found myself singing along with the chorus. This song must be some track to expect to be in my next year countdown!
Simple Plan "Save You" Album: Simple Plan
These guys used to be my hit back in the day. Now they seem to be on a dry spell for me.
Anyways I couldnt help but notice this song has a lovely meaning and beautiful lyrics,
so it couldnt escape to be in this countdown
Westlife "What About Now" Album: What About Now
4th ballad in a row to appear in this countdown! Westlife was my favorite boy band of all time.
However I lost track of them a while ago, this year I found out about this cover and it wasnt so bad.
I love the winter scenes they put in the video and the meaning they put in their voices.
Jason Mraz feat. Colbie Caillat "Lucky" Album: We Sing. We Dance. We Steal Things.
Oh god! Jason Mraz is annoying as hell... But well I guess Colbie's helping hand did miracles.
Being one of the most underated songs this year mostly because Im Yours totally outcasted it,
this song is catchy and beautiful so I couldnt leave it out of my cd. XD
BoA feat. Sean Garrett " I Did It For Love" Album: BoA
Breaking the chain of ballads here comes this song that keeps making me laugh everytime I hear it.
I *****d the hell outta this song even when I didnt even know who was the singer!
Anyways BoA did her thing and after I watched the music video I confirmed it. *yummy*
Hoobastank "My Turn" Album: For(N) Ever
Who didnt love them back in 04-05?
Too bad they're one of the biggest one hit wonders of the decade
This video is kinda crazy and shows a totally different Hoobastank from the ones we met in 04.
In case someone actually knew they released it here it is sitting on my #113!!
Beyonce feat. Kanye West "Ego" Album: I Am...Sasha Fierce
This has to be one of the fastest songs Ive burned this year, first I hated it,
then the music video came and I *****d it for like 2 days,
and after that I immediatly got sick of it, to make things worse Kanye West is featured on it
Anyways as a reminder Bey was in my cd, here it is!
Metric "Gimme Sympathy" Album: Fantasies
The word to define this track is "soothing".
Seriously everytime I listen to it I feel relaxed along with this girl's voice.
I'll be looking forward for them to breakthrough in mainstream someday in the future
