The unwarranted hysteria surrounding false rape accusations when they rarely happen + there are tons more cases of rape that go unreported.

It depends on the information I have. The allegation of rape is very serious and should be taken seriously but I'd never condemn a fe/male as guilty without being informed. It's very easy for ones life to be ruined as a result if it's untrue.

In the case of Kesha/Dr. Luke, I am inclined to believe her as what she is saying does seem credible. However, I believe that Luke should have a fair trial and not by social media.

I stand on the side of reason! Was a rape kit presented? Were charges filed immediately? or Do you wait 10 years to file charges? Were charges filed before? Is the victim known to have lied before or carry a burden of proof. Were professional psychologists brought in to assess the case and give professional judgement. Certain professionals can assess the likelihood of someone lying or actually catch a person in a lie! But you cannot just simply say that a victim is automatically a victim! Of course you have to take that stand (especially with child abuse), but the legal system can ultimately weed out who is lying and who is not (in most cases). Even in child abuse cases where one spouse wanted to get out of a relationship or punish the other spouse, there have been cases where someone spent time in prison when in fact they were innocent. Still, yes, you must go to the police immediately, have a rape kit done. But if you wait ten years, the less likely you are a victim!

Like i know it's rational but it still feels a lil contradictory since i only apply it to grown people. If a child says they were abused then I whole heartily believe them

A banished false accusation of rape is a lesser evil than an unconsidered rape case, where the rapist is announced innocent because of no proof.

I don't even stan Kesha but I would easily bet my monthly income that she's telling the truth. And the way the sentence humiliated her even though she didn't even accuse her rapist is just horrible.
