SuMtHiNtOxIc82'S Year End Countdown
SuMtHiNtOxIc82'S Top Singles of 2009 (#50-#46)
50. Alexandra Burke F. Flo Rida, Bad Boy
2008: Madonna, "Give It 2 Me"
--Alexandra made her debut single with Bad Boys. I was expecting a very R&B sounding song, and while it does have some hint of R&B, its also very Pop sounding. I love that she didnt do the standard ballad as her first 1st, and she took a chance. She sounds great on the song and she performs it beautifully.
49. Anjulie, Boom
2008: Neyo, "Miss Independent"
--I first heard this song while I was working, and the drums in the song got me hooked. The video is SO different, but it fits with the music. She has a very interesting voice that just hooks you to her.
48. Britney Spears, Radar
2008: Gavin Rossdale, "Love Remains The Same"
--This is one of my favs from Blackout, but when I found out it was going to be her 4th single from Circus, I wasnt too happy about it, but it still did well on my charts. I love the lyrics and Britney own personal touch on this song.
47. Mariah Carey, Obsessed
2008: Girlicious, "Like Me"
--Mariah with ATTITUDE. I love it. She sounds good on this song, but the beat is what really gets you into the song. And some of the lyrics are just brilliant.
46. Shakira, Did It Again
2008: New Kids On The Block, "Single"
--I love the wasy she sings this song. Her voice fits it so well, and i love the style of the song. The drums are AMAZING. As for the video, it was actually on of my favs for the year. The bedroom scene choreography was BRILLIANT. It was very sexy, but not ****ty, and was perfect with Shakira style.
SuMtHiNtOxIc82'S Top Movies of 2009 (#20-#18)
20. G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra
2008: Cloverfield
--I was really looking forward to this movie. 1st off, I LOVE Channing Tatum, 2nd, growing up I used to love G.I. Joe. The movie worked well, but it did have it's short commings. If nothing, its a great action movie.
19. X-Men Origins: Wolverine
2008: Juno
--With me being a BIG comic book nerd growing up, I was really interested in seeing how they would tell Wolverine's tale. Overall, it was also a good "action" movie, but fell short to me. The action scenes are the best part of this movie. But
18. Ninja Assasian
2008: Baby Mama
--3 Action movies in a row. WOW. What can I say, just a great action movie. Some really great scenes and had a good enough storyline to get me interested.
