What would y'all think if Taylor would release an album like Kacey Musgrave's "Pageant Material"?

A real country album, with very simple, but good production and and her best lyrics?
No big and explosive hooks, just amazing storytelling.

No thanks that album sucks other than "Dime Store Cowgirl", "Late To The Party" and "Die Fun".

She can do that when she's 60.

Pop Taylor is amazing. I do agree she should showcase her best lyrics with no explosive hooks though. But I'd go more along the way of an album full of ballads like Sad Beautiful Tragic, Dear John, Last Kiss and All Too Well. Those songs have her best lyrics, are amazing songs yet none of them are uptempo and she could transition into a more mature artist. Who knows? Her album could give Adele a run for her money and get acclaim.

but tbh the first 4 are almost flawless.

I'd also really like for her to bring some of the country back for the next album. Red was a little disjointed but she almost striked a perfect balance between pop & country influenced stuff and I prefer that Taylor.

Well she has the highest average Metacritic score out of her peers, so I'd say that she's already more acclaimed than Adele.
