A couple weeks ago, first successful white female rapper Kreayshawn, talked on her radio show about how her label (that was under the ownership of Sony Music Entertainment), sabotaged her album release by only selling it at Hot Topic and cutting all promotion (hence why it flopped hard).

She sold 6.8k, and they only shipped 10k total.
