I said this in the tour thread when that first Fraternal Order of Police letter from the Miami chapter president calling for them to start this surfaced online and it's astounding how far it's gone in the 1-2 days since, but it's disgusting and deeply disturbing that they're even suggesting this. ANY officers top priority should be the protection of his or her citizens, period. Disagreeing with the ideas of who you're obligated to protect should have nothing to do with you keeping your word to the people you've sworn to protect and keep safe. The fact that they are publicly denying service to their own citizens over a pop star supporting a movement that addresses police brutality is ridiculous and deeply irresponsible and it's scary and saddening that officers are willing to use the safety of their own citizens as a tool and bargaining chip for their own political posturing. Top this with the fact that every year they quietly and with no objection protect people attending Klan rallies, border watch/anti-immigration vigilante rallies, anti-gay rallies etc., and it becomes flat out infuriating. Shame on them.

Law enforcements are embarrassing themselves
