I kind of agree with him that an openly gay from day 1 actor would have more trouble booking roles than a black person seeing as I can't really think of many big movies where a gay person is the lead and is actually playing a gay character. Maybe a few where they're side characters who kill themselves at the end of sassy bffs but other than that ...

I wish people would quit trying to turn everything into a competition. Being gay and being black are their own struggles in this country with unique sets of issues.
