Honestly I think it's Hotel. It was over dramatic at parts but it's electric score (have you seen It Follows? It was similar to the score of that movie, which is brilliant) is amazing.
I also love Asylum's. The pianos were everything. I did hate those very "sharp" violin noises they would play after like a big reveal or something though. It sounds like taking a saw to a violin and it was just annoying.
Covens was good, I don't remember MH's, and Freak Shows was awful. That corny ass mad scientist music they play at EVERY dramatic scene in the season

In a way, Hotel was a worse version of Murder House that favored style and theatrics over effective storytelling.Plus they are both the only seasons with 12 episodes.
All i know is that the episodes with NPH and Maggie getting chopped off for no good reason apart from bad writting are probably the worst FS episodes along with the episodes in which the strong man wanted to kill himself and ghost of beard lady saved him ... wtf, just thinking about it made me angry

Hotel is the best because its like it follows. Covens is pretty similiar except the lalala score. Fs is better though. The music during orphans and the scary breathing sound >>> it also has the seasons worst score, when something dramatic happens.
Asylum was ok, i guess. They overused that sharp violin sound. Other than that nothing was used more than 1,2 times i think.

It's been a month since Hotel ended but I already miss it so much Hotel will always have a special place in my heart despite many people trashing it I haven't loved AHS characters so much ever since Asylum. There has to be characters as good as Liz Taylor, Iris, Ms. Evers, Sally in season 6
