There's a limited supply and their selling out....50,000 pairs of shoes is not enough to increase their sales by much especially if the brand as s whole is slipping

The article says Adidas is actually growing right now, but it's trying to disprove that it's bc of Kanye, due to the 'limitedness' of his shoes.
Not only does it go against every other report on this;

Yeezy is Jumping Over Jumpman: Nike’s Overall Sales are Down, adidas Climbs
but Matt Powell is a notorious Kanye hater on twitter and he's ride or die for Nike
