Do you have any comprehension of mental illness or feelings of suicide? She's not an idiot, she's a human who was having a moment of weakness.
Read between the lines. She's not saying she was going to kill herself because she lost a battle. Suicidal thought come from DEEP feelings of worthlessness, which most people don't like to deal with so they compensate and try to come across as confidant but in the process they overshoot and come across arrogant or egotistical because it helps to cover up the deeper feelings.
OT: I agree with the last part Holly said about it making her stronger in the long run. Hope she comes out stronger and feeling better about herself.
