I'm happy the feedback has been mostly positive. I think maybe if you're not super into bowie you wouldn't recognize how awkward the performance was. The technology part, coming from someone who studies computer science, that was super embarrassing that they hyped it up that much for a projector. She literally had to have dots on her face to track her face it was really not good technology it's old and didn't work right there was like a million other things they could have done. It would have been more impressive if they didn't hype it up. I'm happy people still enjoyed it though the general public is really back on her side if they didn't drag her for this because imo it was pretty embarrassing.
Honestly, you can tell she's a die hard fan of Bowie and didn't want to screw up this performance. Based on this i think it was a little bit cold and rehearsed, she could do something much more energetic and Gaga-ish. Overall she rocked and i doubt any other pop singer could pull this off.
It looks like talent won again.
