Decorated war veteran Chris Marquez was attacked at a McDonald's in Washington, D.C. after a group of teens ask if he believed black lives matter. Marquez is an eight-year veteran of the Iraq War.

I think that's beside the point. Sure, it's important to recognize racial injustices, but beating people up (especially people who risked their lives to serve our country) isn't going to teach them anything.

Maybe he said yes, maybe he was nervous and didn't know how to respond, maybe he thought it was a prank, maybe he doesn't understand the movement – regardless, physically assaulting another person is only hurting the cause.

The Black Lives Matter movement is highly dubious but no one wants to address that because when a POC cries it must mean they are right

A group of individuals supposedly asking him that and beating him for not responding, doesn't represent the movement or the majority at all. It's irresponsible to even suggest otherwise. Anyone attempting to criticize it because of this is getting a side-eye.

That's a very white thing to say considering that 9 times out of 10, white tears can get you a slap on the wrist for just about any crime that isn't mass murder.

You also have made up terms like "Affluenza". "I'm rich and I didn't know that could get me in trouble!"

When a POC cries, it's because they see the handouts, leniency, and praise whites are given on a daily basis.

Why did they need A veterinary at the war tho?

Just because they asked him if black lives matter doesn't mean they're a part of the BLM movement. They were probably just some dumb, violent kids looking for trouble. But of course people will try to pin this down as another piece of "evidence" that BLM is racist, while ignoring the fact that Black Lives Matter can be claimed by anyone, anywhere at anytime.

Any real, respected person in the BLM movement would never condone attacking someone off the random like that. That's probably why they aren't considering it a hate crime. Hope he gets justice against those kids of course, but this has absolutely nothing to do with the BLM movement.
