The real sad part of this is that he didn't want to do the commercial. His mom talked him into it because they were struggling financially and Pepsi paid him and his brothers 1.5 million each for it.
His self esteem issues started when he was young with his father, but this probably started the drug addiction. Just tragic. I had the biggest crush on him in the Blame It On the Boogie video. That smile.
But I've also never heard about this, so scary and sad. The fact that he was able to ever preform again is amazing. As far as drug addiction who knows, he was probably already experimenting but maybe this aided him a bit.
I've never seen this video, i've only heard jokes about this. I was like "when was his hair on fire", I never expected to actually see it This is so sad
