Meghan, 1st popgirl BNA winner since Adele. Why?
Meghan Trainor won Best New Artist in 2016 Grammys. It took 7 years to have a popgirl finally win the coveted Best New Artist Grammy Award. The last one being, Adele in 2009. Why?

I wouldn't count Adele. We've had dozens of discussions about whether she's a "pop girl" but more importantly, she was undeniably not one in 2009.
