I was serious. But when I said that I was probably caught up in one of her million-unit debuts. I have conflicting feelings about her legend status. Her stats and accolades all say legend. Everything else says no. When I stand back from her success and look at her as a whole, I realize that being a legend has as much (if not more) to do with image than stats and accolades.
When people think of an artist, they don't think "she won AOTY twice." They think of an image. The first thing that comes to your mind when you think of an artist is not a stat, or an award, or even a song. It's an image. Just look at Bowie (

But then, she probably does have the biggest chance out of her generation. Who are her peers? Katy? Rihanna? Gaga? None of those girls will be legends.
