i know. i hate when people use that excuse, too. like, sure, anyone can be nervous, but when you've been doing this for so long, you just get over it. i'd rather adele have tweeted something like "i could reach the notes as easily as usual, i'm going to In n Out" and blamed herself, not the piano. you can tell that the issues with her performance weren't the piano, just struggling a bit to get the high notes (even though she did hit them kind of, just not wonderfully like usual). anyone who think it was the piano mishap's fault probably doesn't understand a live performance
